The Rec Center is getting a facelift

The Brunswick Community Recreation and Fitness Center will be getting cosmetic and functional updates over the next few weeks.
Some of the various remodeling projects that will be taking place include:
- replacing ceiling tiles
- painting the meeting rooms and locker rooms
- painting the strength and cardio areas
- cleaning air ducts
- replacing HVAC units
- painting the pool area ceiling
- refinishing the gym floor
- pool maintenance
- other remodeling
These projects will take place throughout different sections of the building and will cause temporary closures for some spaces and amenities. The men’s locker room will reopen on Thursday, April 27. The women’s locker room will continue to be closed at this time. Up next is the Fitness Center! The entire upstairs, cardio, strength training, dance studio and track will be closed beginning on Monday, May 1 for air duct cleaning and painting. The basketball gymnasium and track will follow on May 8th thru May 12th. If everything stays on schedule, the pool complex will be closed May 15th thru May 26th. All of this is subject to change.
The Strongsville Recreation Center will be allowing our members to use their facility from May 1 thru May 26. Members will need to show proof of their active Brunswick Recreation Center membership. Please contact the Brunswick Recreation Center front desk at 330-273-8000 opt 6 for instructions on how to utilize the Strongsville Recreation Center.
Strongsville’s hours of operation are:
Monday-Friday: 5 am-8 pm
Saturday: 8 am-4 pm
Sunday: 9 am-2 pm
