The Medina County Solid Waste District has instituted a program for the combined recycling of plastic jugs and bottles, metals, cartons, paper and cardboard, and glass.

Homes
Each home receives two City-supplied carts, one for recycling and one for regular trash. These are picked up on a weekly basis.
Homeowners and home renters should check the rules on what materials are recyclable and how they should be deposited for curbside collection.
Apartments
Apartment dwellers may collect recyclables in a separate container and dispose of them at any one of a number of collection sites located throughout the City.
