The Division of Police relies on information from the public to direct patrol assignments. A person may request additional patrol by calling the Communication Center or speaking to a police officer. Generally the following information will be required:
- name
- address
- telephone number
- specifics of complaint (e.g., “Speeders every day between 2 pm and 4 pm, especially red Camaro driven by Johnny from down the street.”)
Anonymous information is also accepted by the Division; however in order to more efficiently investigate and follow up on a complaint, contact information is appreciated.
