Online Refuse & Stormwater payment
The City of Brunswick’s previous online payment provider website, EZSecurePay, will no longer be available as of December 31, 2024. The previous payment provider has been purchased, and that company no longer supports the previous payment provider’s software or website. Your user account under the old website will no longer be valid or associated with the City of Brunswick. Please make sure you delete this website from your toolbars, cookies, etc.
The City of Brunswick has launched a new refuse and stormwater electronic payment system, Nextbillpay, https://new.nexbillpay.net/brunswickoh/BillPay/SignIn, on December 30, 2024. Residents will be able to continue to pay their refuse & stormwater bills anytime, day or night, with this new online portal. However, you must first register by clicking on “SIGN UP NOW!” and create a new user account on the Nextbillpay website.
Once you have registered under the new website, Nextbillpay, you can attach/link your applicable refuse/stormwater billing account(s) by using your account number(s). You can attach multiple account numbers, if you own more than one property. Once your account numbers are linked to your Nextbillpay user account, you can also make payments with either a credit card or electronic check. E-checks do not have any additional transactional costs assessed to the customer. However, credit cards will have an additional 2.55% charge, with a minimum $1.50 fee, applied to their balance and collected by the processor.
The City of Brunswick and the new online payment provider, NextbillPay, are in the process of developing additional features and information to the portal to improve your experience and information. In order to keep any disruption to the customer to a minimum during the transition, we prioritized the option to pay online over anything else. We will continue to work with our software vendor and the new online payment provider to provide the best possible service and features as they become available from our vendors.
