Fire Engine 1 Dedication Ceremony

The Brunswick Division of Fire is excited to announce the addition of a new Sutphen Engine to the fleet. This new engine replaces the previous Engine 1, which served the community well but became unreliable for fire responses. As is tradition in the fire service, a wet-down ceremony and blessing will be held to celebrate the significant enhancement to our service delivery. Following the blessing, the ceremony will continue with the tradition of pushing the engine into the station. This ceremony is a meaningful way for firefighters to officially “bless” the new equipment and dedicate it to the protection of the community.
